About the role#
As a Radiology Student Technologist at Maryview Medical Center, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist. You will apply the art and skill of diagnostic imaging using ionizing radiation while gaining hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the review of patient information for radiographic exams.
- Provide lifting assistance to patients.
- Escort patients to and from the Radiology department.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates to medical staff.
- Use critical thinking and active listening to support the imaging team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited radiology program.
- Completion of at least one year of schooling with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Preferred: BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: GXMO state limited license.
- Ability to work in an environment with fluctuating workloads and occasional high-stress periods.
