About the role#
This is a 12-month internship position based in Mississauga, Ontario, for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the Systems Engineering team for Hydro Mechanics, specifically supporting the Global 7500/8000 program. This is a full-time, paid role with a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Systems Engineering team with technical investigations and governance tasks.
- Manage databases and track outstanding actions to support engineering deliverables.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators for the Bombardier Operational Excellence System.
- Run meetings, prepare presentation materials, and document meeting minutes.
- Build professional relationships across different departments.
- Provide occasional support outside of standard working hours and potentially travel for training or work purposes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer, or software engineering program.
- Prior work experience or completion of a previous internship.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Office365, PowerBI, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5, MATLAB, Python, or SciLab scripts.
- Strong oral and technical communication skills in English, with French language skills considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while showing initiative and drive.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (12-month duration).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
- Note: This position is open to current students only, not recent graduates.
