About the role#
This is a 12-month internship position based in Mississauga, Ontario, for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid role with a hybrid work schedule. You will work within the Systems Engineering team on Avionics and Electrical projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the Systems Engineering team by investigating technical issues and managing governance.
- Manage databases and track outstanding actions to support engineering deliverables.
- Track Key Performance Indicators for the Bombardier Operational Excellence System.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare presentation materials, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Build relationships with various internal departments.
- Identify ways to improve internal processes and tools.
- Provide occasional support outside of normal working hours.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer, or software engineering.
- Previous work experience or a completed internship.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, specifically Office365, PowerBI, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5, MATLAB, and Python or SciLab scripts.
- Strong oral and technical communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with drive and initiative.
- Good interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
