About the role#
This internship focuses on the development and validation of software tools within the Advanced Design department. You will work on conceptual design tools and support Multidisciplinary Optimization (MDO) projects. This role involves benchmarking research and conducting feasibility and trade studies for new aircraft design software.
What you'll do#
- Help develop and validate software tools for the Advanced Design team.
- Build conceptual design tools.
- Participate in the development of Multidisciplinary Optimization tools.
- Benchmark current disciplinary environments against research.
- Assist in feasibility and trade studies for new aircraft design software.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an aerospace, mechanical, computer engineering, or computer science program.
- Completion of at least two years of your degree.
- Interest in aerospace, aircraft design, and software development.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with C/C++, Matlab, or Fortran.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Dash is an asset.
- Motivation, curiosity, and the ability to work independently.

- Location: Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Status: Full-time and paid internship.
- Note: This position is for current students only, not new graduates. Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
