About the role#
As an intern in Interior Finishing Engineering, you will contribute to the design, production support, and continuous improvement of Paint & Placards systems. You will work under the Section Chief to harmonize engineering practices across different aircraft platforms and maintain technical product definitions.
What you'll do#
- Use CATIA and product lifecycle management tools to design and modify components.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, and bills of materials.
- Work with manufacturing, integration, methods, and certification teams to solve technical issues.
- Analyze different aircraft platforms to find opportunities for standardization and process improvement.
- Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and support technical projects.
- Build tools, metrics, and dashboards to track team performance.
- Document best practices to help harmonize work methods across programs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in design, systems integration, and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 or similar 3D modeling software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Verbal and written fluency in both French and English.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools is an asset.

- Location: Dorval, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (8 months).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Note: This role is open to students only. Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
