About the role#
The Aircraft Performance team provides certified and operational data that defines the capabilities of our aircraft. We contribute to the development of new aircraft and maintain the airworthiness of in-service models. You will join the team for a 12-month internship to support flight testing, certification activities, and the integration of new analytical tools into our engineering processes.
What you'll do#
- Develop methods and software to analyze and visualize aircraft flight test and simulation data.
- Optimize and standardize engineering tools used for aircraft development.
- Support engineers during aircraft development, testing, and certification.
- Propose analytical or semi-empirical methods to certify avionics software using neural networks.
- Explore potential applications of artificial intelligence for aircraft performance models.
- Promote efficient IT tools and increase team competencies through training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Software Engineering or Data Science.
- Programming proficiency in Python, Web programming, C++, shell scripts, and database management.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Eagerness to explore the aviation field.

- Location: St-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (12-month duration).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: This position is open to students only. Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
