About the role#
The Security & Fire Operations (S&FO) internship provides students with hands-on experience across corporate site security, aviation security, emergency preparedness, business resilience, and fire protection engineering. Interns work cross-functionally with facilities, operations, legal, and emergency response teams to support layered protection strategies. This is a paid, full-time program designed to provide practical experience in organizational safety and continuity.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to daily operations in risk assessments and compliance documentation.
- Design and test emergency exercises and business continuity playbooks.
- Analyze vulnerabilities and mitigation options.
- Translate technical findings into clear briefings for stakeholders.
- Support aviation security audits and contribute to after-action reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- A passion for the aerospace industry and interest in a career with Boeing.
- Relevant academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Criminal Justice.
