About the role#
This summer 2027 internship at Bobcat Company offers students a chance to apply their engineering studies to real-world projects. You will work directly with professionals to support product compliance and sustainability initiatives within our machinery manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to sustainability efforts, including metals recycling and responsible material use.
- Assist with process development, supplier engagement, project management, and AI integration.
- Support projects involving material analysis, battery and engine compliance, and sustainability.
- Research and monitor national and international laws, regulations, and certification requirements.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data regarding chemical usage, emissions, and industry standards.
- Maintain records and databases to ensure compliance.
- Generate reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Help develop product sustainability strategies, life cycle assessments, and carbon footprint documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemical, Material, Metallurgical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- Positions are located in West Fargo, North Dakota, and Bismarck, North Dakota.
