This is a paid, part-time, on-site summer internship for students at Bob Jones University. You will work as part of the grounds crew to maintain the appearance and functionality of the campus environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist grounds staff with general campus upkeep, including storm cleanup and trash removal.
- Perform landscape watering and irrigation repairs.
- Clean hardscapes, streets, and sidewalks.
- Clean, dust, and wax exterior building fixtures, windows, and doors.
What you'll need#
- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University or Academy.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
- A valid driver's license is helpful.
- Note: You may be exposed to an allergic environment. Students are allowed a total of 10 days of vacation during the term.
