Event Ushers assist attendees at various programs and events held in the university auditoriums. This role involves providing a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth operation of events through direct interaction with guests.
What you'll do#
- Greet attendees of university programs and events.
- Provide direction and assist with seating.
- Distribute programs when necessary.
- Scan tickets for ticketed events.
- Assist with emergency situations as they arise.
- Lift and carry up to 20 lbs as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with people.
- Capability to think critically and make sound decisions in the moment.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Psychology, or Public Health.
