About the role#

Event Ushers assist attendees at various programs and events held in the university auditoriums. This role involves providing a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth operation of events through direct interaction with guests.

What you'll do#

Greet attendees of university programs and events.
Provide direction and assist with seating.
Distribute programs when necessary.
Scan tickets for ticketed events.
Assist with emergency situations as they arise.
Lift and carry up to 20 lbs as needed.

What you'll need#

Current enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with people.
Capability to think critically and make sound decisions in the moment.
Preferred majors include Communications, Psychology, or Public Health.

Location: Greenville, South Carolina.
Term: Summer 2026.
Work Modality: On-site.
