About the role#
Blue Bird is seeking an intern for the Quality Assurance department for the Summer 2026 program. This position offers exposure to manufacturing operations and provides an opportunity to contribute to real-world business goals. Successful interns may be considered for future early career rotational pathways.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work that supports departmental goals.
- Support process improvement and operational efficiency through data analysis and observation.
- Participate in a core functional assignment and a dedicated special project.
- Present project outcomes and key learnings to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must be at least 18 years of age prior to the start of the internship.
