About the role#
Blue Bird Corporation is seeking an intern for the Grants and Community Engagement team for the Summer 2026 term. This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to meaningful business goals within a manufacturing environment. Interns will engage in a core functional assignment and a special project, culminating in a presentation of outcomes to the Leadership Team. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work that supports department goals.
- Support process improvement, problem-solving, and operational efficiency through data analysis, observation, and collaboration.
- Participate in a core functional assignment and a special project that delivers measurable value to the business.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to peers, mentors, and leaders through written, verbal, and presentation formats.
- Present the outcomes of key projects to members of the Leadership Team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must be at least 18 years of age prior to the start of the internship.
