About the role#
This internship offers a chance to work within a global newsroom. You will receive hands-on training before joining an assigned team. You will contribute to the production of journalism across digital, television, radio, and print platforms. Depending on business needs and your interests, you may cover topics ranging from energy and technology to public policy and financial markets.
What you'll do#
- Report and write stories under your own byline.
- Pitch, interview, research, and analyze data for news coverage.
- Chase stories under the direction of an assigned team.
- Collaborate with journalists across the global newsroom.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least three years of undergraduate study by the start of the internship.
- A passion for journalism and storytelling.
- Previous print journalism experience or a demonstrated interest through internships, campus media, freelance work, or extracurricular activities.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Interest in fields such as journalism, communications, economics, finance, business administration, or political science.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Washington, District of Columbia.
- The position is on-site.
