About the role#
This is a student worker position at the Nancy Carol Roberts Library. You will help with daily library operations and support patrons during their visits.
What you'll do#
- Check library materials in and out for patrons.
- Help visitors with general questions.
- Assist patrons with using computers, copiers, and microfilm readers.
- Handle money for book sales and late fines.
- Manage records for overdue fines.
- Keep the library organized by shelving books, magazines, and newspapers.
What you'll need#
- Ability to help patrons with general library inquiries.
- Experience or comfort using computers and the internet.
- Capability to operate standard library equipment, including copiers and microfilm readers.
Location & details#
- Location: Brenham, Texas.
- This is an on-site, paid, part-time position.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
- Majors in History, English, or Communications are preferred.
