About the role#
Big West Oil offers a summer internship for students to gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. This program pairs you with experienced professionals to help you build skills for your future career. The internship runs from May to August, depending on your school calendar.
What you'll do#
- Support the security, maintenance, configuration, and operation of computer systems, data, and IT/OT SCADA networks.
- Assist with the design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical enterprise applications.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university.
- You have completed your sophomore year by the start of the internship.
- You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- You are authorized to work in the United States.
- You communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- You work well with others in a team environment.
