About the role#
The Student Content Creator helps tell the Bethel story by creating on-brand content for university social media platforms. You will work with the Marketing and Communications team to brainstorm, create, and publish content that captures the student experience. This role includes attending campus events and sharing content on your personal social media accounts as a Bethel ambassador.
What you'll do#
- Create content for Instagram, TikTok, and other video platforms.
- Brainstorm and execute content ideas from start to finish.
- Attend campus and student events to capture footage.
- Collaborate with the social media team to support marketing goals.
- Post content on personal accounts to represent the university.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Bethel student.
- Experience creating content from concept through publication.
- Basic video production skills, including shooting and editing.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms, especially TikTok and Reels trends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to take initiative.
- A willingness to learn and follow Bethel brand voice and visual standards.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
- The work modality is hybrid.
- Expected hours are 3 to 5 hours per week.
- This is a paid position for students.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
