About the role#
Bethel University is hiring a student worker for the ITS department. This position supports the campus community by resolving technology issues and handling equipment requests. You will work on-site in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Answer incoming calls and assist walk-in customers with technology concerns.
- Gather necessary information to troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 support issues.
- Fulfill service and equipment requests.
- Document case details to ensure accurate tracking and future reference.
- Create and update knowledge base documentation.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at Bethel University.
- Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with the community.
- A willingness to learn and research solutions for new or complex problems.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work well alongside other students and follow direction from staff members.
- Majors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity are preferred.
