About the role#
Belden offers a 12-week internship program designed to provide students with hands-on experience in our Innovation function. You will work on business projects, collaborate with experienced managers, and deliver results for the organization. This program focuses on developing your project management, interpersonal, and function-specific skills. You will work toward defined goals and present your findings to business leaders.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects within R&D, Products, Platform/Software, Solutions, or Strategy & Operations.
- Gain practical experience in crafting business solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams of experts.
- Present project outcomes to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Business coursework or demonstrated business acumen.
- Previous technical internship or work experience in areas such as technical writing, data analytics, project management, or laboratory work.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- High learning agility and a drive to take initiative.
- Accountability and a bias for action.
- Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time, paid position ($27-$37 per hour).
- Locations: Chicago, IL; Richmond, IN; Carmel, IN; Tucson, AZ.
- Modality: Hybrid and remote work practices are available where feasible.
