The Help Desk Intern will support the BHG Corporate and Field teams as well as treatment centers. This full-time position provides exposure to service desk operations, desktop software support, and computer operations. Interns will gain experience in areas including cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management.
What you'll do#
- Maintain hardware, software, and various IT systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and provide support to team members.
- Organize and maintain IT resources and company hardware.
- Participate in community and public relations activities as assigned.
- Attend required training and continuously explore knowledge within the field.
- Demonstrate the belief that addiction is a brain disease, not a moral failing.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or Data Science.
- Knowledge of IT systems, software, and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or escalate issues as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for long periods.
