About the role#
BeachFleischman is looking for a Tax Intern to join our team in Tucson. You will work under the supervision of a CPA and an assigned buddy to prepare tax returns and support our senior staff. This role is a chance to apply your accounting knowledge to real client work while building your professional foundation.
What you'll do#
- Prepare basic corporate, individual, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Research and analyze tax issues for clients.
- Apply the rules and code of conduct set by the AICPA, FASB, and GASB.
- Build a working knowledge of tax research techniques and tools.
- Assist senior accounting staff with various tax and accounting services.
- Learn to use our tax software systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate accounting student.
- Good academic standing.
- A desire to earn your CPA license.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- This position is based on-site in Tucson, Arizona.
- This is a part-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
