About the role#
As a Tax Intern in Core Tax Services, you will work with experienced professionals to support our client base. You will use your educational background and organizational skills to assist with tax compliance and consulting tasks. This role offers a hands-on perspective on our firm practices and provides an opportunity to build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns and extensions.
- Perform quarterly estimates.
- Assist with components of income tax provisions.
- Respond to notices from the Internal Revenue Service.
- Use online research tools to gather tax information.
- Work with tax software to complete simple returns.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Active pursuit of school credits required to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow instructions.
