About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work alongside experienced team members to learn BDO audit methodology. You will gain hands-on experience by participating in a structured training program, assisting with audit engagements, and building relationships within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various stages of the audit process using BDO audit methodology.
- Communicate with clients, creditors, banks, and related parties regarding audit issues.
- Prepare and document work in working papers using specific firm tools and templates.
- Complete one assigned accounting or audit research project and present your findings to a panel of professionals.
- Provide support to the audit staff during engagements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting.
- Active pursuit of school credits to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow instructions.
