Co-op or Intern, Internal Administration

About the role#

BDO Canada is seeking a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Office Administration team in Toronto for a 4-month term beginning in September 2026. This full-time, paid position focuses on supporting internal operations and document management processes.

What you'll do#

• Digitize and organize office files, including scanning, naming, and electronically filing documents.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets to monitor digitization progress, file statuses, and document locations.
• Provide general administrative support to the administrative team and assist professional staff with document preparation.
• Proofread letters and internal materials to identify and correct grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors.
• Utilize Workday and other internal systems for file management and project coordination.
• Support office operations, including back-up reception coverage, mail handling, and back-office banking tasks.
• Assist with a large-scale claims administration process.

What you'll need#

• Currently working towards a degree or diploma with a focus in administration, human resources, communications, or graphic design.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter while managing time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with team members and clients.
• Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is considered an asset.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience is considered an asset.

• Compensation: $34,000 - $56,000.
