Co-op or Intern, Financial Reporting & Insights (BC Interior Offices) Winter 2027

About the role#

BDO Canada is seeking Co-op or Intern students to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team in the BC Interior. This is a full-time, paid position starting in January 2027, with the option for a 4 or 8-month term. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax compliance and financial reporting while working toward your CPA designation.

What you'll do#

• Utilize technical accounting knowledge to prepare tax returns for a variety of clients.
• Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, responding effectively to their requests and suggestions.
• Communicate regularly with team members to provide progress updates and address project issues.

• Currently working toward a degree or diploma with a focus in accounting.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and the initiative to seek understanding.
• A commitment to teamwork and a desire to provide outstanding client service.

• Locations: Kelowna, Kamloops, Vernon, Salmon Arm, or Revelstoke, British Columbia.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $41,000 - $56,000.
