About the role#
The Service Coordinator Intern supports the Service Department with daily administrative tasks and coordination. You will gain hands-on experience with service scheduling, customer communication, and order processing within an industrial environment. You will work alongside the Service Coordinator and Service Managers to keep service operations organized and efficient.
What you'll do#
- Review incoming service requests and gather information for quotes or follow-up.
- Enter and update service orders in company systems.
- Coordinate with Service Managers to schedule service technicians and verify customer details.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, service orders, and completed work in FreeForm.
- Review weekly service reports and assist with follow-up on overdue items.
- Organize service documents, work orders, and project files.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail when preparing documents or entering data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance and support.

- This position is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
