WHFH ReStore Warehouse Associate - BC

About the role#

This position supports the Waco Habitat for Humanity ReStore through direct customer service and warehouse maintenance. As a student worker, you will assist with daily operations, including managing inventory and facilitating the donation process.

What you'll do#

• Provide customer service by assisting with item selection, measuring materials, and loading or unloading purchases and donations.
• Organize and maintain store inventory to ensure an orderly shopping environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with staff on merchandise pricing.
• Assist the donation coordinator and handle incoming phone inquiries.

What you'll need#

• Federal Work-Study eligibility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, squat, bend, and climb in and out of trucks.
• Comfortable working in an unconditioned warehouse environment.
• Strong verbal and human relations skills.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or Communications.

Location & details#

• Location: Waco, Texas.
• Work Modality: On-site at the Waco Habitat for Humanity.
• Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week, Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
• Terms: Summer 2026 and Fall 2026.
