Student Worker - Art History Assistant

About the role#

The Art and Art History department is seeking a Student Worker to assist with academic support and administrative tasks. This role focuses on fostering educational growth for students and maintaining a supportive environment within the department.

What you'll do#

• Provide academic assistance to students in the discipline.
• Identify student educational needs and provide appropriate guidance.
• Conduct research tasks as required.
• Assist with attendance recording.
• Provide information and customer service to constituents.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure the confidentiality of all pertinent information.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the professor.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student, preferably in an Art major.
• Punctuality and dependability in maintaining a regular schedule.
• Ability to adhere to the schedule set by the professor.
• Commitment to complying with all University policies.

• Location: Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center, Waco, Texas.
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Flexible hours as agreed upon with the professor.
