Student Worker - Art History Assistant

About the role#

This position supports the Art and Art History department at Baylor University. The role focuses on fostering educational growth for students and assisting with administrative tasks as directed by the professor.

What you'll do#

• Assist students with academic subject matter as needed.
• Identify educational needs and provide appropriate support.
• Conduct research and assist with attendance recording.
• Provide customer service and information to constituents.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and confidential environment.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the professor.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student, preferably in the Art major.
• High level of punctuality and dependability.
• Ability to adhere to a set schedule established by the professor.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of all pertinent information.
• Ability to comply with all University policies.

• Location: Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center, Waco, Texas.
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $9.56 per hour.
