About the role#
The Pre-Law Program Manager Assistant supports the Baylor Pre-Law Program by engaging with students and assisting with departmental programming. This position offers hands-on experience in student services, academic advising, and event coordination within a professional university setting.
What you'll do#
- Advise first-year students and those currently applying to law school.
- Review personal statements and provide feedback on law school application materials.
- Assist with event planning, logistics, and promotion.
- Support relationships with pre-law student organizations and student leaders.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with additional projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Familiarity with the law school admissions process.
- Previous experience in student services and administrative support.
- Demonstrated skills in event coordination and peer mentoring.
- Preference for students pursuing majors in Political Science, Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, History, Philosophy, Sociology, or Criminal Justice.

- Location: Sid Richardson Building, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: $12.00 per hour.
