About the role#

Waco Hall Ushers assist house management with the operations of events at Baylor University. This role focuses on hospitality, event coordination, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

What you'll do#

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events.
• Greet patrons, distribute programs, and provide information or answer inquiries.
• Deliver customer service to clients and visitors.
• Help ensure patrons follow facility and event policies.
• Assist with general activities and tasks related to event and hospitality services.
• Help set up the lobby for scheduled events.

What you'll need#

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to comply with all University policies.
• Reliability and the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Flexibility to work hours based on the Waco Hall event schedule.
• This position is open to students in majors including Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Health, and Psychology.

• Location: Waco Hall, Waco, Texas.
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: Paid at $8.50 per hour.
