About the role#
Baylor Tennis is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented student worker to assist with racquet stringing operations for the men’s and women’s tennis programs. This position supports team practices, matches, and tournaments within a collegiate athletic environment.
What you'll do#
- String and re-string tennis racquets to meet team requirements.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy regarding requested tensions and string setups.
- Operate and maintain Baiardo Wilson stringing machines.
- Manage inventory and organization of strings, grips, and accessories.
- Communicate with coaches and players to coordinate racquet needs and turnaround times.
- Keep the stringing area clean and organized to ensure efficient operations.
What you'll need#
- Previous racquet stringing experience is required.
- Knowledge and experience using Baiardo Wilson stringing machines is preferred.
- Understanding of different string types, tensions, and player preferences.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Dependability, organization, and punctuality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends during competition periods.

- Location: Hurd Tennis Center, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position at $12.00 per hour.
