About the role#
This position supports the Youth Program at Mission Waco. You will work directly with youth participants to build relationships and facilitate daily programming. This is an off-campus role requiring reliable transportation. Applicants must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.
What you'll do#
- Plan and implement daily youth activities, including gathering equipment and room setup.
- Supervise youth participants and volunteers during daily activities.
- Enforce program rules and discipline.
- Assist with general administrative duties and cleaning tasks.
- Potentially assist with transporting youth from school to the program if you are 21 or older with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
What you'll need#
- A mature Christian faith.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- General office proficiency.
- Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Enrollment as a student in majors such as Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week. Program hours are Monday through Thursday, approximately 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Students must be available for at least two of these days, with additional time available for administrative tasks.
- Compensation: $11.00 to $12.50 per hour.
