Student Worker - Waco Hall Usher

About the role#

This position supports house management at Waco Hall by assisting with event operations and hospitality services. The role involves preparing the lobby, welcoming guests, and ensuring that facility and event policies are followed during scheduled programs.

What you'll do#

• Set up the lobby area in preparation for events.
• Greet patrons and distribute programs upon entry.
• Assist guests throughout events and resolve inquiries.
• Coordinate logistics and tasks to ensure events are executed according to quality standards.
• Participate in meetings regarding event planning and hospitality coordination.
• Collaborate with marketing and communication teams on branding and promotional activities.
• Gather feedback and recommend improvements for future events.

• Commitment to maintaining regular and punctual attendance.
• Ability to comply with all University policies.
