Student Worker - Waco Hall Social Media Specialist- BC

About the role#

This Student Worker position supports the marketing and communications efforts for Waco Hall. You will help manage social media presence and assist with various projects related to the promotion of events and activities within the department.

What you'll do#

• Create and post content for Waco Hall social media accounts using photography, video, and other marketing tools.
• Capture behind-the-scenes footage and photos to document events.
• Develop and execute social media engagement ideas in a timely manner.
• Plan and organize content in advance.
• Provide general marketing and communications support as assigned.
• Work both independently and collaboratively on various projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies.
• Knowledge of social media engagement strategies.
• Experience with basic videography and editing.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work individually and take initiative.
• Excellent communication skills to help tell stories through digital platforms.
