Student Worker - Waco Hall Marketing Specialist - BC

About the role#

This position supports the marketing and communications efforts for Waco Hall. You will help advance the facility's social media presence through content creation and strategic planning while supporting various department projects.

What you'll do#

• Manage and advance Waco Hall social media accounts using photos, videos, and other marketing tools.
• Capture behind-the-scenes footage and photography to document events and share the story of Waco Hall.
• Develop and execute new engagement ideas in a timely manner.
• Organize and plan social media content in advance.
• Provide general marketing and communications support for the department.
• Work both independently and collaboratively on various tasks and projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies.
• Knowledge of social media engagement strategies and basic videography and editing skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively tell stories through digital platforms.
• Ability to work individually and take initiative.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and comply with university policies.
