This position supports the Mechanical Engineering department at Baylor University. The Undergraduate Research Assistant will contribute to the development and testing of novel additive manufacturing techniques and characterization methods for manufactured components.
What you'll do#
- Assist in research efforts related to additive manufacturing and component characterization.
- Provide general lab and research support for assigned areas.
- Support various projects, activities, and tasks within University laboratories.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Mechanical Engineering student.
- Ability to comply with all University policies.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and precautions.
- Reliability and consistent, punctual attendance.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas (BRIC).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Term: Ongoing with a flexible schedule.
- Compensation: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour.
