The Student Media Graphic Designer supports the Department of Student Media by creating visual materials for the Baylor Lariat, Roundup Yearbook, and Focus Magazine. This role involves managing projects from concept to completion, adhering to deadlines, and following established approval processes. This is a paid, part-time student worker position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Produce graphic materials including print and digital advertisements, fliers, posters, brochures, and the annual media kit.
- Provide marketing and communications support for various departmental projects and activities.
- Support and execute marketing strategies as assigned.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to meet project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student, specifically within the Graphic Design major.
- A portfolio or design samples to present during the interview process.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred; experience with Excel and PowerPoint is also desirable.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Willingness to take initiative and comply with all university policies.
Location & details#
- Location: Castellaw Communications Center, Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 14 hours per week.
