Student Worker - Student Manager, Football - BC

About the role#

This position serves as a student manager for the football team, supporting the equipment services department at Baylor University. This role involves active participation in daily operations, requiring a commitment of 20 hours per week with availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel may be required for away games.

What you'll do#

• Assist full-time equipment staff with practice and game setup and teardown.
• Set up drills using necessary practice equipment.
• Manage equipment inventory, perform repairs, and handle laundry operations.
• Execute business operations duties and assist with various projects related to the assigned area.
• Provide customer service to clients.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in good academic standing, with a major in Business Administration or Kinesiology preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, take initiative, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with the line manager regarding scheduling or performance issues.
• Commitment to maintaining regular, punctual attendance and complying with all University policies.
