The Student Body Officer position consists of three elected roles: Student Body President, External Vice President, and Internal Vice President. These officers serve to strengthen the undergraduate experience through advocacy, partnership with institutional leadership, and financial stewardship. This position is open to students for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Lead respective councils or cabinets on a weekly basis.
- Attend weekly meetings with institutional leadership.
- Advance projects designed to benefit the undergraduate student body.
- Meet with the Student Government advisor weekly.
- Engage with Student Life divisional leadership at least once per month.
What you'll need#
- Must hold an elected position within student government.
- Commitment to advocacy for the undergraduate experience.
- Experience in financial stewardship and institutional partnership.
- Demonstrated leadership in councils or cabinets.
- Preferred majors include Political Science, Business Administration, Communications, Sociology, or Psychology.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site at the Bill Daniel Student Center.
- Compensation: $8.00 per hour.
- Schedule: 12 hours per week.
