About the role#

Join the Roundup Summer Student Leader team to assist incoming freshmen during Baylor Orientation. You will help students capture their first Baylor memories through the official yearbook experience, ensuring the process is welcoming and efficient for both students and their families.

What you'll do#

• Engage with incoming freshmen and their families to guide them through the yearbook portrait process.
• Promote and sell Roundup yearbooks and portrait packages.
• Manage the setup and teardown of promotional signage daily.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource by answering questions regarding Baylor, the Department of Student Media, and the surrounding area.

What you'll need#

• Energetic and outgoing personality with a comfort level for starting conversations and social interaction.
• Genuine interest in helping others and representing Baylor.
• Knowledge of Baylor, the Department of Student Media, and the local area.
• Preferred majors include Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.

Location & details#

• Location: HURD Welcome Center, Waco, Texas.
• Term: Summer 2026 (Summer 1 & 2).
• Schedule: 12 to 14 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday only.
• Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
• Modality: On-site.
