Join the Roundup Summer Student Leader team to support Baylor Freshman Orientation. This role focuses on helping incoming students capture their first memories through the official yearbook experience, ensuring orientation is welcoming and organized for both students and their families.
What you'll do#
- Guide incoming freshmen and their families through the yearbook portrait process.
- Promote and sell Roundup yearbooks and portrait packages.
- Manage the daily setup and take-down of promotional signage.
- Act as a resource by answering questions about Baylor, the Department of Student Media, and the surrounding area.
- Represent the university and create positive first impressions for new students.
What you'll need#
- An energetic and outgoing personality with a comfort for social settings.
- Ability to initiate conversations and a genuine interest in helping others.
- Knowledge of Baylor University.
- Enrollment in majors such as Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: HURD Welcome Center, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2026 (Summer 1 & 2).
- Schedule: 12-14 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday only.
- Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
