Student Worker - Pre-Law Program LSAT Tutor

About the role#

The Baylor Pre-Law Program is seeking an LSAT Tutor to support undergraduate students as they prepare for the Law School Admission Test. This position involves working one-on-one with students to guide them through their preparation process and help them navigate testing resources. This is a paid, part-time, on-site role for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Identify individual student strengths and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement personalized study strategies for LSAT preparation.
• Assist students in building effective study habits and navigating prep resources.
• Support students in increasing their familiarity with official LSAT content and testing strategies.
• Maintain accountability for student preparation goals and provide support via email.

What you'll need#

• An official LSAT score in the 97th percentile or above.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to various learning styles.
• A passion for supporting students through the law school admissions process.
• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or academic support is preferred.
• Current enrollment in a major such as Political Science, Criminal Justice, or Psychology.

• Location: Sid Richardson Building, Waco, Texas.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: 10-15 hours per week.
• Term: Fall 2026.
