About the role#
The Baylor Pre-Law Program is seeking an LSAT Tutor to support undergraduate students preparing for the Law School Admission Test. This position involves working one-on-one with students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, develop individualized study strategies, and provide support throughout their preparation process.
What you'll do#
- Help students build effective study habits and navigate available prep resources.
- Increase student familiarity with official LSAT content and testing strategies.
- Provide guidance on study plans and maintain accountability for student preparation goals.
- Respond to student questions via email.
What you'll need#
- An official LSAT score in the 97th percentile or above.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
- A passion for supporting students through the law school admissions process.
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or academic support is preferred.
- Familiarity with LSAC LawHub Prep Plus, LSAT Demon, or 7Sage is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Sid Richardson Building, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: 10-15 hours per week.
- Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
- Required materials: Resume and an official LSAT score report with your name visible.
