Student Worker - HSB Team Leader

About the role#

The HSB Team Leader position at Baylor University provides essential support for the Technology Commons. This role focuses on maintaining lab facilities, assisting students and authorized users, and ensuring that technological needs for events are met. This is a paid, on-site student position for the Fall 2027 term.

What you'll do#

• Provide customer service to students and authorized users of the Technology Commons Lab.
• Maintain lab facilities by performing routine tasks such as restocking printer paper and replacing toner cartridges.
• Ensure the overall cleanliness of the lab, classrooms, and team rooms, including wiping down equipment and furniture.
• Communicate and enforce Technology Commons Lab policies.
• Open and securely close facilities according to the assigned schedule.
• Report faulty equipment to supervisors for repair.
• Provide on-site technical support for events hosted by faculty, staff, and students.

What you'll need#

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance and work evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to comply with all University policies.
• Experience with Windows is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
