About the role#
The Digital Operations Assistant supports Student Media’s digital advertising and analytics workflow. This role focuses on managing data collection, preparing performance reports, and assisting with ad placement across platforms to ensure digital campaigns run smoothly. You will coordinate with advertising and marketing teams to maintain accurate metrics and produce professional presentations for internal and client use.
What you'll do#
- Collect and organize data from the Lariat website, Morning Buzz, social media platforms, and Lariat print editions into clear formats.
- Prepare and deliver weekly PowerPoint presentations for sales, social, web, and Morning Buzz teams.
- Place digital advertisements in assigned locations based on reservation details.
- Monitor digital trends and insights to help advertisers understand campaign performance and plan future efforts.

- Location: Waco, Texas (Castellaw Communications, Room 226).
- Term: Fall 2027.
- Schedule: 16 hours per week.
- Compensation: $9 per hour plus a $1,000 scholarship per semester.
