Student Worker - Chapel Peer Supervisor

About the role#

The Chapel Peer Supervisor supports the Senior Chapel Coordinator by overseeing Site Leaders and the student operations team. This role is responsible for managing Chapel logistics, including worship services and prayer sessions. The position requires 12 hours of work per week on-site at the Bobo Spiritual Life Center, beginning in Fall 2026.

What you'll do#

• Oversee Site Leaders and student staff to ensure smooth Chapel operations.
• Manage audiovisual requirements, including sound system maintenance, stage setup, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Lead attendance tracking using punch cards or QR codes and serve as the primary contact for student attendance inquiries.
• Write liturgies and lead prayer services for Chapel Prayers.
• Create and maintain work schedules for Memorial and Robbins Chapel.
• Mentor student staff and assist with service management, including entrance and exit flow and behavior monitoring.

What you'll need#

• Previous experience as a Chapel Student Worker is required.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of audiovisual equipment or a willingness to learn technical setup and maintenance.
• Ability to supervise, mobilize, and mentor a team of student workers.

• Compensation: $9.00 per hour.
