Student Worker - Champions Redefined

About the role#

This position supports the Champions Redefined Retreat within the Student Athlete Center for Excellence. Mentors are responsible for the day-to-day execution of the retreat, including leading small groups, managing referee labs, and facilitating group activities. This is a full-time, paid student worker role during the May 2026 minimester.

What you'll do#

• Lead small groups and facilitate group activities during the retreat.
• Assist with the coordination of logistics to ensure services are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Provide customer service to internal and external partners, including answering inquiries and resolving issues.
• Participate in planning meetings for events and hospitality services.
• Conduct presentations to provide updates to partners.
• Create feedback surveys and assist with the promotion of events.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on branding and advertising.

What you'll need#

• Ability to comply with all University policies.
• Commitment to maintaining regular and punctual attendance.
• Strong customer service skills when working with internal and external partners.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.

Location & details#

• Location: Simpson Athletics and Academic Center, Waco, TX.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week for one week during the May 2026 minimester.
• Pay: $10 per hour.
