About the role#
Baylor University is seeking a Student Worker to join the Athletics Event Management and Facilities team. This role provides operational support for the daily functions of McLane Stadium, including inventory management and event coordination. This is a paid, on-site position for the Fall 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operational support for daily departmental tasks.
- Assist with event planning, coordination, and day-of operations, including moving equipment such as barricades and stanchions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for in-person guests and callers, providing customer service.
- Generate, prepare, and analyze reports or perform forecasting.
- Assist with special projects, database maintenance, and the development of internal processes.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Communications, or Kinesiology.
- Availability to work every home football game in the fall 2026 season.
- Strong administrative and operational support skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to comply with all University policies.
- Preference is given to current juniors and below, as well as those with summer availability.
Location & details#
- Location: McLane Stadium, Waco, Texas.
- Work Schedule: Minimum of 12 hours per week between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Employment Term: Fall 2027.
