Student Worker - Athletics Event Management and Facilities

About the role#

Baylor University is seeking a student worker to support Athletics Event Management and Facilities. This role focuses on the day-to-day operations of McLane Stadium, including inventory management and event support. This is a paid, part-time position requiring a minimum of 12 hours per week between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

What you'll do#

• Provide mid to advanced level administrative and operational support for daily tasks.
• Assist with event planning, coordination, and on-site event management operations.
• Handle inventory management, including moving barricades and stanchions.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for in-person guests and callers, providing customer service.
• Generate and analyze reports or perform forecasting as needed.
• Assist with special projects, departmental initiatives, and process improvements.
• Maintain internal databases, records, and compliance processes.

What you'll need#

• Availability to work every home football game in the fall 2026 season is required.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to adhere to all University policies.
• Preference is given to current juniors and below, as well as students with summer availability.
• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, or Human Resources.
