Student Worker - AI Peer Consultant

About the role#

The AI Peer Consultant serves as a first-line resource for business students within the Hankamer School of Business. Based in the Technology Center’s Technology Commons, this position focuses on promoting AI literacy by helping students integrate Generative AI tools into their academic workflows and professional development.

What you'll do#

• Provide one-on-one assistance to peers regarding AI tools.
• Create guides and examples demonstrating practical AI applications.
• Help students move beyond basic prompting to purposeful, career-aligned uses of AI technology.
• Promote the creative, effective, and responsible use of AI across the student body.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI tools.
• Ability to guide peers in using AI technology creatively and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in creating educational materials or guides.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Term: Fall 2026.
• Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
